In the Oxide Ceramics Department we develop new materials for resource-conserving and renewable energy generation and thus make a major contribution to energy savings. With the help of our products, aircraft and gas turbines can be operated more efficiently and benefit from more precise manufacturing processes. In the field of biomedical implants, our innovations help improve the quality of life in old age.
Our platform technologies enable us to achieve consistent results in scaling up new products in the industrialization process. These technologies employ a standardized design over all scales – ranging from laboratory and testing center to industrial-scale facilities.
